The process of paper making and the performance of factories in this field are not the same and are completely different. In Iran, according to the date of its establishment, every factory uses special technology at the same time. Another important point that affects the arrangement of paper production lines is the type of output paper that is produced as a final product in factories and is available to the market. The set of these items determines the arrangement of the devices in the paper production line and the devices used in the papermaking process. In this article, we have fully reviewed these cases. Stay with us.

Paper making steps

In general, the papermaking process can be summarized in 9 steps, which are as follows:

Step 1: Paper and pulp process

At the beginning of the paper production process, the recycled paper or pulp is poured into a large stainless steel container to be mixed with water and the primary paper pulp is prepared. This large chamber is called the pulper device. Impurities and additional coarse materials in the primary dough are separated from the dough by passing through the sieves in the pulper. This work helps the process so that the produced paper has a higher quality.

Step 2: Thinning the pulp

During this process, at different stages, certain amounts of water are added to the paper pulp so that the final paper pulp becomes thinner and forms a better formation. In fact, it can be said that at the end of the dough making process, the dough contains approximately 1% fiber and fibers and the remaining 99% is water.

In order to properly refine, the pulp is passed through several devices to separate the impurities and waste particles while adjusting the concentration and classification of fibers. We have explained more about these devices below.
